Despite a new lockdown coming into force in England and furlough being extended until March across the UK, MoTs certificates have not been extended a second time.
That means you can still be hit with fines of up to £2,500 if you're late to get your car, van or motorbike tested.
Worse, increased demand coupled with Covid-19 restrictions could make booking a test harder than ususal.
That's because many of the tests that were put off earlier in the year are now coming due.
Test centres have also been added to the list of premises that can remain open despite the a second lockdown being brought into force in England.
As a result, no new extension is coming.
